As we all are well aware of Social Media's impact in our generation, the Real Estate isn't an exception and here we will go through some specifics tips that will make a difference and create a significant impact on your Real Estate business.

In fact, according to the National Association of Realtors 77% of real estate agents use social media. Facebook is by far the most popular platform in real estate, followed by LinkedIn and Instagram.

Let's first cover the basics, so set up accounts on the most relevant social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn. Keep in mind using a couple of key differentiators from an average personal account.

For Facebook, create a business account which is not going to be as informal as your personal account. Also, you'd need to impleent some strategies to start building an audience. An article from Lucidpress states,

"The Facebook algorithm favors posts that get a lot of engagement, so ask questions to drive comments or share content your followers will enjoy such as an upcoming local event, so they like and share it. If you're just getting started and don't have a large social media following yet, holding a contest to bring awareness of your real estate page is a great way to build up your follower count."

Moreover, as Instagram is reapidly becoming one of the most popular social media platforms, you'd want to dedicate some time to build up attractive visuals for your branding. And for LinkedIn, make sure to update your profile and, similar to Facebook, create a business account for your Real Estate business so it even gives it another degree of professionalism.

A key element on building a relationship with your future clients is showing them that you actually care. How do you do that? Don't just throw an overload of salesy information. Understand your audience! Get conversations started with strategies such as hosting Q&A sessions where the clients get to express what they are looking for. Specially nowadays, since most of the new generations' home buyers will do extensive search online.

A staggering 94% of millennial homebuyers are taking their search online. This creates incredible opportunities for real estate agents to connect with them there—but only if they truly understand their audience's motivations.

Last but not least, make sure to be consistent with providing content on whichever social media platfroms you've decided to use. Once you obtain an audience, they will sense that you're probably not in business anymore if you stopped posting content.

Also, don't stress about creating all the content yourself - outsource, collaborate, promote with other businesses in the same industry such as linking relevant articles, etc.

Now get started and polish those Social Media accounts!
